Panama City Beach is kicking off the holidays Thanksgiving weekend with Beach Home for the Holidays. This inaugural event starts November 27 and lasts through the annual Beach Ball Drop on New Year's Eve. Thanksgiving weekend starts the free event at Aaron Bessant Park with John Berry's Christmas Concert, followed by a Christmas tree lighting. On Friday, enjoy the Panama City POPS Orchestra at 7:00 pm, followed by fireworks.

In addition to festive entertainment and fireworks, Aaron Bessant Park will also be filled with campfires, s'mores, hot chocolate, carolers -and of course, holiday cheer!

Just because the temperature is cooling off, doesn't mean the fun is! Many restaurants and attractions will be bustling throughout the holiday season. A few restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving: Runaway Island, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and Boars Head Restaurant and Tavern. For a complete list of restaurants and attractions opening their doors over the holidays visit the Beach Home for the Holidays page here.

Holidays in Panama City Beach are never short of events! Throughout the holiday season there are many concerts and shows--and even a marathon.

The Barn at Wicked Wheel is putting on dinner and a show featuring Todd Allen Herendeen on December 5. Enjoy a buffet dinner while listening to a live performance of all your favorite Christmas music.

Come out and support (or even participate in) the Panama City Beach Marathon. Holidays may ensure eating a lot of good grub, but running this 26.2 mile race will help you shred those holiday pounds! The PCB Marathon is on December 5 in the Pier Park area. (There is no race day registration so be sure to register by December 3!)

You and your family can stroll the streets of Bethlehem, experience the sounds of Christmas, and listen to tales at the Bethlehem Christmas Village at Capt. Anderson's Marina. Not only is this event sure to get the family in the holiday spirit, but the marina is also taking donations for different charities-so be sure to bring an unwrapped toy or canned good to give back during the season of giving.
