The Saturday after Thanksgiving has become what's known as "Small Business Saturday," and if you're lucky enough to be in Panama City Beach over the weekend (being "Thankful for the Beach") there are plenty of small, locally owned businesses open for shopping.
Sure, the big businesses get all the attention during Black Friday, but if you're not quite in the mood for "door busting," you can let your Thanksgiving turkey settle for an extra day, and then go shopping for some truly unique gifts from some of the smaller, sometimes overlooked businesses.
