Natchez, Mississippi, is invaded by Hollywood in 1956 for location shooting for Raintree County. Clemmie runs a local tea room, which has a regular list of patrons, all of whom long to meet the stars of the film and perhaps land a small role which has been promised to some local citizen. Competition for this role brings out the best and the worst in these characters. Intrigues, twists and turns in the plot lead Clemmie, who presides over her domain with quiet authority, to choose love over fame. A hilarious, heart-warming and sassy play by Ron Osborne.
