Geocaching in Panama City Beach

Panama City Beach invites you to experience its official Pirates of the High Seas GeoTour (GT66). Offering pirate-themed geocaches at the World's Most Beautiful Beaches. We kick off as part of the Pirates of the High Seas Fest over Columbus Day weekend, and will remain active throughout the year.

As you hunt for treasures, you will journey the very path that Capt. Dominique Youx traveled when he hid his personal treasure. Caches are located throughout Panama City Beach, and clues in the caches will help you complete a treasure map that will ultimately lead you to the treasure of Capt. Dominique Youx! Each cache will also include various articles of pirate gear you can wear as you continue on your journey. Finding all the caches also earns you a digital souvenir!

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. Join the 6 million geocachers worldwide as you take part in the Panama City Beach Pirates of the High Seas GeoTour and travel throughout beautiful Panama City Beach.
