PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla., April 23, 2015 - Visitors can win a GoPro® for lounging on a paddleboard, catching some rays, kite-surfing along the shore of Shell Island or having a close encounter with a porpoise at Gulf World Marine Park. These are just a few of the point-of-views (POVs) highlighted in the new advertising campaign by Visit Panama City Beach launched today. Titled "PCB POV," the campaign uses cutting-edge technology to capture the point-of-view of the vacationer through imagery documented with GoPro® technology.

Also starting today, the sounds of a PCBeach Radio can be heard streaming on Pandora® with a dedicated station playing summertime favorites from Jimmy Buffett, Alan Jackson, Jack Johnson and more.

"From high-energy excitement to laid-back serenity and reflection, the ‘PCB POV' campaign shows the many faces of fun that can only be found in Panama City Beach," shares Visit Panama City Beach President & CEO Dan Rowe. "PCBeach Radio is truly the soundtrack of summer and we invite everyone to rediscover their fun side in Panama City Beach.

Visitors are encouraged to follow @Visit_PCB on their Instagram account, capture Panama City Beach experiences from their point-of-view including favorite places to stay, eat and simply have fun. As part of the PCB POV initiative, visitors have the chance to win a GoPro® Hero 3+Silver camera by sharing their personal Panama City Beach experiences on Instagram with #PCBPOVsweeps. One GoPro® Hero 3+Silver camera will be given away each week now through September.

The advertising creative began appearing in April issues of key market regional magazines and is now live online with a digital component. Placements include Southwest Spirit, Sports Travel, Texas Monthly, Southern Living and O, Oprah Magazine.

Whether its family fishing on the Gulf, reading the greens at Goofy Golf or simply hitting the beach, the Panama City Beach campaign captures a fun vantage point for all ages.
