In Bay County and especially Panama City Beach, tourism continues to be the cornerstone of the local economy. In 2025, visitors are expected to contribute an impressive $3.1 billion to the area's economy, supporting over 35,000 local jobs.

Panama City Beach owes much of its success to tourism, and for this year's Tourism Appreciation Week in Florida, we’ll be hosting a Real. Fun. Celebration on Wednesday, May 7th! Join us at the M.B. Miller County Pier from 4:00-8:00 p.m. as we celebrate Tourism Appreciation Day. This event is FREE and open to all hospitality, restaurant workers, and everyone who works tirelessly to promote this incredible destination.

The celebration will feature food and drinks from The Spice is Right food truck, the Blue Bell ice cream truck, the Gypsy Belle photo booth, live music by the band Stainless Steel, and more!

A big thank you to everyone who makes Panama City Beach such a fantastic place to visit and to all those who choose our beautiful beach when planning their Real. Fun. Beach. vacation!
