Paddleboard Presentation

Fall fishing doesn’t get much better than a redfish adventure in the bays surrounding Panama City Beach.  And when you can get to within a couple of feet of the fish without spooking them, the results can be spectacular.  In “Paddleboard Presentation,” Capt. Justin Leake and outdoors photographer Sam Root navigate stand up paddleboards (SUPs) across shallow, grassy flats holding aggressive slot-sized redfish.  Sunny, late October days like this demonstrate why many anglers consider Panama City Beach’s redfish flats to be Florida’s finest – if you can’t see the fish, just look for the gold flash.  Also in this episode, chefs Guillermo and Danielle Dovalina demonstrate how to select, filet and sear fresh grouper.  The husband and wife team, who trained under celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, use produce from the local farmers market to add fresh, seasonal flavor.
