For many people, taking a little “R & R” means getting some rest and relaxation. But for our intrepid hosts, it means “rockin’ and reelin’” as they celebrate the first day of winter by heading for the shallow water flats in search of redfish and speckled trout. There, they can shield themselves from the wind and target the mouths of creeks and bayous where fish typically seek warmer water during the winter months.
“Redfish and trout are our 365 day guaranteed bite,” says Justin. “You just have to get out on the water and see what’s out there.”
