Driving

From the North:

Highways 231, 331 and 79 lead directly to the Gulf of Mexico and Panama CityBeach. All highways easily access Interstate 10.

 

From the West:

Hwy 98 provides a scenic route into Panama CityBeach, or take I-10 eastbound to Hwy 331, 79 or 231.

 

From the East:

Hwy. 98 will bring you directly to the beach, or take I-10 westbound to Hwy 231, 79 or 331.

 

Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP)

Bus

Getting Around:

Once you've arrived, there are only two basic directions you need to know during your Panama City Beach trip: east and west.

 

Panama CityBeach is divided into three sections: West, Middle and East beaches. U.S. Alt. 98, known as Front Beach Road is the main drive that runs along the Gulf of Mexico.  Can’t beat the view along FrontBeach, where you’ll find condos, restaurants and white sand beaches galore - a lovely addition to your Panama City Beach trip.

 

U.S. 98, or Panama City Beach Pkwy., is the main interior road, where you’ll find an increased speed limit and fewer traffic lights. This is the business road, while FrontBeach is the scenic route.

 

Both of these roads run throughout the city. Panama City Beach restaurants, shops and hotels will note their closest body of water as either bay or beach.

Panama City BeachFlorida is easily accessible and within a day’s drive of many cities in the Southeast. So, you can spend less time traveling and more time enjoying the beach that fun built! Plan your Panama City Beach trip with ease.

But we’re not out of reach of our Northern, Western or International friends, either. Any way you travel to Panama CityBeach, it’ll be well worth the trip.
