By Air:
The Panama City-Bay County International Airport is conveniently located approximately 10 minutes from Panama City Beach Florida. The 55,000 square foot terminal features six gates, a spacious departure lounge, ample seating and a panoramic view of the airfield. The main concourse also features a gift shop, restaurant/bar and ATM machine. Additional services include ground transportation services, rental car agencies and short/long-term parking facilities.

In May 2010 the brand new international airportwill be opening in Panama City Beach! This state-of-the-art, eco-conscious airport will offer a 10,000 foot runway, the longest in Northwest Florida! Jets and aircraft of all sizes will be booking Panama City Beach flights, so mark your calendars. The airport will have dozens of features that make it environmentally friendly, and the goal is to make its terminal the first in the nation certified to LEED standards under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program of the U.S. Green Building Council.
Getting Around:
Once you've arrived, there are only two basic directions you need to know during your Panama City Beach trip: east and west.

Both of these roads run throughout the city. Restaurants, shops and hotels will note their closest body of water as either bay or beach.
