PANAMA CITY BEACH,  Fla.- June 22, 2018- Destinations International announced that Visit Panama City Beach’s Interactive Marketing Manager Michaelean Stewart has been named to the 2018 30 Under 30 class. As a part of the 2018 30 Under 30 class, Stewart will have the opportunity to engage in professional development opportunities throughout 2018 and beyond. This year’s honorees will convene for the first time at the association’s 2018 Annual Convention in Anaheim, California July 10-13.

Stewart joined Visit Panama City Beach at the start of 2015 after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Communication from Florida State University. She began her career as the Marketing Coordinator for the Tourist Development Council in 2015 and since moved into the role of Interactive Marketing Manager in 2017. Within her role, Stewart is responsible for the management of the destination’s social media accounts and website, as well as coordinating and developing creative for advertising and marketing initiatives.  

“I’m thrilled to be selected as part of the 30 Under 30 class, and I’m looking forward to the opportunities that come with receiving this distinction,” shared Stewart. “As a native to Panama City Beach, promoting our area has been rewarding work, and it’s been wonderful to watch my hometown become a year-round destination thanks to the efforts of our team. I am looking forward to sharing our beautiful destination with others in the Destinations International 30 Under 30 class.”
