Three-Day Romantic Getaway

A trip to Panama City Beach is a chance to get away from it all. Reconnect with your partner through new shared experiences and quality time together, just the two of you, over a long weekend. After all, nothing says romance like stunning sunsets, walks on the beach, and intimate restaurants.

Day 1

Once you've arrived in Panama City Beach, check in to your weekend accommodation — a hotel, resort, vacation rental, or campsite. Many hotels and resorts offer romance packages, so when you make a reservation, add it to your experience to enjoy extras like chocolates, wine, and late check-out privileges.

Start the day with breakfast or brunch at Finn's Barista Bar, where you can enjoy cold brew coffee, acai bowls, avocado toasts, and more on the outdoor patio.

Then, burn off your morning meal with a stroll around Pier Park featuring dining, shopping, entertainment, and more. While there, enjoy a movie at The Grand Theater, some friendly competition at Dave & Buster’s or get close and personal in your private SkyWheel glass-encased gondola for romantic views of the city and Gulf Coast. Pier Park has countless local boutiques and big-name retail shops if you want to grab an extra swimsuit or souvenir. Before you go, grab lunch at a local or chain eatery.

At sunset, try beachside yoga with Studio By The Sea. Experience the beach like never before by combining a gorgeous view with expert yoga instruction on the white-sandy shore.

Once it’s time for dinner, head over to Capt. Anderson’s Restaurant & Waterfront Market. Anderson's is an award-winning restaurant that features fresh seafood, including scallops, shrimp, grouper, and steaks served in a sophisticated atmosphere. Pair your dish with wine and toast to your future together.

After a delicious dinner, go beach bar hopping and enjoy the nightlife at local favorites like Sharky’s for live music and frozen concoctions.

Day 2

Begin the second day of your trip with a cup of locally-roasted and organic joe from The Pour before going on an adventure on land or water at a local park.Paddleboarding at Shell Island

Find tons of activities perfect for two at St. Andrews State Park. If you both love to swim, snorkel, or sunbathe, you’re in the right place. You can also rent bikes from the general store for a scenic ride around the park.

Try something new for lunch, like sharing a seafood platter from the Local Steamer Seafood Market. A fantastic choice for catering a picnic on the beach, this charming spot is said to have the best oysters in PCB.

Afterward, catch a shuttle to the local destination Shell Island. You won’t find a better spot for a romantic walk on the beach than these seven miles of undeveloped paradise. Keep an eye out for dolphins as you look for seashells and soak up rays.

No couple should miss the nightly sunset celebration (which includes a cannon firing) at Schooners Last Local Beach Club, one of Panama City Beach's many beachfront restaurants. Here you can enjoy irresistible crab claws, gulf shrimp, and mouth-watering margaritas. Then, head to the beach for a private bonfire along with s’mores arranged by a local outfitter.

Day 3

Take brunch up a notch, and enjoy mimosas and pancakes with panoramic water views on The Champagne Lady Dining Cruise. Once nourished, spend the day at the spa, many of which reside in resorts, like Salon Baliage & Spa, which offers a couples massage as part of its extensive list of treatments.

End the day, and trip, at a fine dining establishment. Firefly offers diners an indoor bistro experience with tables and chairs revolving around a lit-up tree. The cuisine is Mediterranean-style and the menu includes locally-caught fish. Saltwater Grill features a surf n’ turf menu and a large aquarium you have to see to believe.

After three days in Panama City Beach, you will have memories to last a lifetime.
