Panama City Beach Sports
Planning an athletic event? In addition to sublime beaches and a perfect climate, Panama City Beach boasts state-of-the-art sporting facilities and affordable, world-class accommodations for any team looking for a big win.
Panama City Beach actively solicits and supports athletics as a form of community engagement and economic development. The city has proudly hosted Grand Slam Baseball, Biggest Loser, USFA Fastpitch, Grand Slam Baseball, the World Softball League, Ironman and many other competitions and events.
Fully Equipped Sports Facilities
One of the biggest draws for Panama City Beach is the variety of versatile sporting venues. Frank Brown Park, Panama City Beach’s most expansive sports complex, features all the necessary amenities for any successful athletic event. At 200 acres in size, Frank Brown Park offers nine full-size baseball/softball diamonds, six lighted soccer fields, a lighted basketball court, four lighted tennis courts, a volleyball court and walking/biking trails in addition to a fully equipped playground. Upkeep is important, so Panama City Beach has invested in a $4 million renovation project for Frank Brown Park, adding rust-proof fencing, new backstops, dugouts, restrooms, concession buildings and an improved layout.
The future for sporting events in PCB looks as bright and sunny as our beaches. A new, $37 million Panama City Beach Sports Complex that includes outdoor fields for soccer, lacrosse, rugby and football, in addition to five baseball/softball diamonds sized for collegiate-level contests opened in July 2019. The finished complex will also offer a vast indoor sports and recreation center.
In addition to sporting complexes, Panama City Beach features meticulously manicured golf courses that highlight the unique beauty of the area’s natural splendor. Aquatic centers, shooting ranges and other athletic hubs are also available. Whatever sport or activity, whatever level of play, Panama City Beach has the right location for your event.
As a premier vacation destination, Panama City Beach offers a wide variety of hotels and restaurants. That means you can book accommodations and meals for the whole team without breaking the budget or sacrificing quality.
