The Sports Marketing program of the Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau actively solicits, supports, and creates sports-related events for the “World’s Most Beautiful Beaches”. With state-of-the-art facilities, numerous attractions, award-winning restaurants, and affordable accommodations, Panama City Beach is a natural for that sports experience. Our mission is to generate economic impact for the destination through sports to continue to show the value of an active community.
In 2024, Sports Marketing won four small market sports awards for economic impact, presented by Sports Destination Management! The events included the Grand Slam World Series of Baseball, USSSA Baseball Global & AA World Series, the United States Fastpitch Association World Series, and the Edgewater Gymnastics Classic. Additionally, in 2024, Sports Marketing was awarded Florida's Venue of the Year for the mid-sized market by the Florida Sports Foundation for the Publix Sports Park! Also, Sports Marketing has been named the National Complex of the Year for 2023 by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) for the Publix Sports Park, the “Award of Excellence” from Sports Events magazine, and the State of Florida “Florida Sports Leadership Award”. Our specialty is bid and event management, government relations, support services, entertainment, public relations, communications and marketing, venue selection, and sports-related business relocation.
