Three-Day Family Beach Vacation

Keeping the whole family entertained has never been easier. While on vacation in Panama City Beach, you’ll never run out of fun activities to put on the agenda. From kid-friendly restaurants to memorable excursions on the white-sandy beach and clear waters, PCB is the place to enjoy quality family time.

Day 1

Once settled in, get your first glimpse of the gulf at St. Andrews State Park, which has plenty of room here for children to run and play and experience the sand, surf, and sunshine all in one place. Activities include snorkeling, picnicking, and fishing — there’s no shortage of wholesome ways to spend the day here and at other state and local parks.

Grab lunch or dinner by the shore at Pineapple Willy’s serving everything from seafood baskets to fish sandwiches. Plus, there’s a menu for the kids. While dining here, enjoy stunning gulf and beach views from your table.

Enjoy some friendly competition at area attractions filled with arcade games like Funland Arcade or Rock’It Lanes, which also features a bowling alley, roller skating rink, and more.

Day 2

Start the day with a sugary or savory treat from area breakfast and brunch spots like Liza’s Kitchen, Andy’s Flour Power Cafe & Bakery, or Finns Barista Bar & Snack Shack. Banana Boat Riders

In PCB, the childhood dream of seeing a dolphin can become a reality. Sign up for a dolphin tour with Flippers Dolphin Tours or Blue Dolphin Tours to see these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience no one is soon to forget.

At lunchtime, keep things simple and make your way to Pier Park, a shopping destination equipped with several family dining favorites, from chain restaurants to local bars and grills.

Make your beach time memorable with something a little different, like a banana boat excursion. Local outfitters such as Sunshine Water Sports of PC offer these banana-shaped inflatable rafts. Pulled by wave runners, each banana boat seats multiple people, and children, in particular, will love the bouncy ride.

For dinner, a trip to Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant is in order. Adults will love the spacious outdoor tiki bar, while kids will be happy chowing down on an entree just their size. Ordering at least one piece of key lime pie to share is a good idea, too.

Day 3

Spend your last day outdoors! Shipwreck Island has everything from tidal pools to slides and rides to keep kids happy and entertained. Or go mini-golfing at popular spots like Cobra Adventure Park or Coconut Creek Family Fun Park

After you've worked up an appetite, chow down on subs, salads, and pizza at Fatty’s Sandwich Shop
