Panama City Beach gives families the chance to create new holiday traditions or relive their favorite memories in the destination with a year-round calendar of fun and festive holiday events. The destination begins every new year with its annual New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop presented by Coca-Cola, featuring a countdown, fireworks, live music and 10,000 inflatable beach balls being released from nets over Pier Park. In addition, Panama City Beach’s popular Beach Home for the Holiday taking place over Thanksgiving weekend waves goodbye to fall and sets the stage for the most magical time of the year with carol-themed concerts, campfires and s’mores, an appearance by Santa, holiday entertainment, lighting of the Christmas Tree, live music, fireworks and more.
Also not-to-be-missed, the PCB Mardi Gras & Music Festival takes place the weekend before Fat Tuesday, featuring a beach parade and entertainment for the whole family. The destination’s Real. Fun. Fourth. independence day celebration features the largest display of fireworks on the Gulf Coast, in addition to live music, dining, shopping and a Veterans Memorial Ceremony on July 4. Finally, Panama City Beach Oktoberfest celebrates all things German for two days of locally brewed beer, food, music and kid’s activities with massive tents at Aaron Bessant Park decorated like the Oktoberfest tent in Munich.
