PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla., Jan. 29, 2014 - A Mardi Gras festival befitting the streets of New Orleans is taking place in Panama City Beach, located along the white, sandy beaches of Northwest Florida. The two-day event will take place from Feb. 28 to Mar. 1 and is sure to provide fun for the entire family with parades, costumes, and plenty of live music, including the iconic New Orleans band, Dr. John and the Nite Trippers.
"Mardi Gras is a special celebration for so many people, especially in our region of the country," shares Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau President and CEO Dan Rowe. "We're excited to invite everyone to come celebrate Mardi Gras by the beach, with us."
