The summer season is officially in full-swing in Panama City Beach, and there’s no better time to take in the incredible Gulf Coast views and enjoy the 27 miles of award-winning white sand beaches. There’s Music in the Air in Panama City Beach, Summer 2016

Starting June 9, visitors and locals alike can gather for the free summer concert series at Aaron Bessant Park amphitheater, where live performances in the open-air venue set the tone for summer.  The PCB Summer Concert Series takes place every Thursday night through August 11, and Groovin’ on the Green offers a scaled down version of the open-air concert series on Monday nights at the Carillon Beach neighborhood. 

4th of July Star Spangled Spectacular, July 4, 2016

Panama City Beach celebrates the 4th of July with the largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast as fireworks are fired from the identical City Pier and County Pier. The simultaneous fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. and is choreographed to accompany music broadcasted by Powell Broadcast Group on local radio stations. Families can enjoy a day filled with live entertainment, children’s activities, tasty food and drinks, as well as breathtaking fireworks displays at multiple locations. Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, Sept. 2-4, 2016

To wrap up summer and kick start the fall festival season, Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam brings the best of today’s country music to the beach. Festival-goers will get a chance to see many of the biggest names in country music as they take the stage on the beach then, as the sun begins to set, patrons can ride shuttles to the headline stage at Frank Brown Park. This year’s headliners include Brad Paisley, Jake Owen, Eric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd just to name a few. For more information, click here.

Chasin’ the Sun Music Festival, Sept. 23-24, 2016

Created to celebrate artists who created and continue playing classic beach sounds, the Chasin’ the Sun Music Festival is a chance to enjoy a few bonus days of summer and will take place in September. Chasin’ the Sun is held just steps from the beach in Panama City Beach’s Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater. Headliners include Charlie Brown’s Tribute to The Coasters, Charlie Thomas’ Drifters, The Tams, The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards, and the Panama City POPS Orchestra performing Windbourne’s Music of Journey.
