Santa Claus is coming to town for the sixth annual Beach Home for the Holidays in Panama City Beach on Thanksgiving weekend. Families can kick off the most magical time of the year with a fun-filled weekend of holiday cheer at Aaron Bessant Park, including caroling, concerts, delicious s’mores, magical nightly fireworks and the lighting of the destination’s 36-foot tall Christmas tree. This year’s Beach Home for the Holidays celebration will also include a Christmas Tree Village, photos with Santa and a live concert from award-winning country music star Josh Turner.

“We are excited to invite families back to Panama City Beach to create lasting memories this Thanksgiving weekend, whether for the first time or the sixth time,” shares President and CEO of Visit Panama City Beach Dan Rowe. “With this year’s special performance by hitmaker Josh Turner, families can expect to be wowed by the music, festive amenities, merry decorations and plenty more cheer and southern charm.”

Turner will take the stage at the Aaron Bessant Park’s open-air amphitheater on Friday, Nov. 26 as part of his “Holiday & the Hits” tour. Earlier this month, Turner released his first-ever Christmas album, “King Sized Manger,”featuring Christmas classics and a new holiday single, and is set to perform these festive tunes during his show.

Throughout the weekend, families can explore the festival’s new Christmas Tree Village and get pictures made with Santa and Mrs. Claus by a professional photographer at Santa’s Village. Attendees will also receive free Santa hats and s’mores kits and can browse a selection of local food trucks for picnic dining or peruse souvenir items among the vendor tents. There will be no shortage of holiday tunes either, as the Panama City Symphonic Orchestra will take the stage Saturday evening to fill the park with carols.

Families can also stop by Panama City Beach’s Décor by the Shore Trail to find something special to place under the tree. The area’s vast network of shops and stores, including the newly added Beach House Market and Maison 30A, specialize in coastal-themed décor, antiques and gifts and guests are sure to find goodies for each loved one this holiday season.
