Panama City Beach's sports parks attract tournament teams from around the country. Here's an overview of our parks by the numbers.

Publix Sports Park

The new Publix Sports Park sits on land donated by the St. Joe Company at the east end of scenic Breakfast Point. Years in the planning, the park itself came together in about 14 months. Nearly $39 million in preparation and construction has created 13 rectangular fields - and much more:

  • 13 multi-purpose sports fields for use with every sport, from baseball and softball lacrosse and soccer
  • 9 AstroTurf fields with Z-Cap Cooling technology
  • 4 fields with natural grass
  • 2 championship fields with a capacity of up to 1,500
  • 13 fields total, all with Qualite LED lights
  • Wi-Fi access throughout the complex
  • On-site concession stands

The city’s original sports park, Frank Brown Park, is still a big draw for sports tournaments, concerts, pets, and more. The facility encompasses over 200 acres and offers something for everyone. Frank Brown Park regularly hosts regional and national events for youth and adults, including USFA Fastpitch Softball, Grand Slam Baseball, and the World Softball League.
