Once in town, there are many ways to get around.
Need to get from your hotel to a local attraction? If you don’t have a car, request rideshare. If you’d like a leisurely way to get to and from the beach, rent a cruiser or electric bike at a local outfitter. The city offers bike racks at various beach access points. There are also plenty of must-see nature trails at parks like Conservation if you’d like to spend a day exploring the wetlands on two wheels.
By foot is another option, especially if you booked a stay at one of the Panama City Beach resorts on the beach or find yourself within walking distance of top attractions like Pier Park.
One of our area’s top attractions, Shell Island, is accessible by boat. Hop on the Shell Island Shuttle, which takes you on a short but scenic journey to the untouched barrier island.
