Where Are High Impact Zones Located?
High Impact Zones include select areas near Pier Park, portions of Middle Beach Road, Thomas Drive, and Front Beach Road, as well as surrounding areas in Panama City Beach and eastern Bay County.
Visitors are encouraged to review posted signage and local maps for exact boundaries during High Impact Periods.
Is there a curfew during High Impact Periods?
Yes. During High Impact Periods, an 8:00 PM to 5 AM curfew is in effect for unaccompanied minors. After 8:00 PM, individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in public areas.
This policy is in place to support public safety and maintain a family-friendly environment during peak visitation periods.
Is there a minimum age requirement to rent a vacation rental?
Yes. The minimum age to rent a vacation rental in Panama City Beach is 21. Valid identification by all adults is required at check-in.
This policy helps ensure responsible occupancy and a positive experience for guests and neighbors alike.
Are there special parking regulations during High Impact Periods?
Yes. During High Impact Periods, parking regulations are strictly enforced throughout Panama City Beach. Paid parking may apply in designated areas, and vehicles parked illegally, blocking traffic, or creating safety concerns may be ticketed or towed.
Are towing fines increased during this time?
Yes. Double towing fines may apply during designated High Impact Periods. These measures are in place to maintain public safety and ensure emergency access in high-traffic areas.
Will there be additional security measures during High Impact Periods?
Yes. During High Impact Periods, increased security measures are in place at certain vacation rental properties and alcohol-serving establishments.
These measures are designed to support public safety, encourage responsible behavior, and ensure a positive experience for guests, property owners, and the surrounding community.
Will there be crowd management measures in place?
Yes. During High Impact Periods, enhanced crowd-management measures are implemented in high-traffic areas to support public safety and maintain a positive environment for visitors and residents.
Large gatherings that create safety concerns or disrupt public spaces may be dispersed in accordance with local ordinances.
What are the rules for minors at alcohol establishments?
Individuals under 18 are not permitted inside alcohol-serving establishments from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM in designated High Impact Period areas.
