World Ocean’s Day is a global day of celebration in honor of the beautiful ocean that connects us all from different parts of the world with a goal of encouraging solutions for a healthy ocean and focusing on preventing plastic pollution.

Join on the fun on June 8th starting with a beach clean up at the M.B. Miller County Pier from 9:30am to 12:30pm. During this time there will also be fun activities and shows supporting the cause at Gulf World Marine Park that you won’t want to miss!

Head over to Diver’s Den afterwards for an underwater dive from 1:00pm-4:00pm and finish off the day at Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant for an after party from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Although World Ocean's Day is only one day of the year, every day we try to protect our beaches. Panama City Beach is known for having the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches," and we want to keep it that way for the enjoyment of everyone! For this reason, the "Leave No Trace" ordinance was issued for Panama City Beach in 2012. Simply put: Anything you bring to the beach with you should also leave the beach with you.

The Leave No Trace ordinance is currently in effect and is active year-round. To learn more about our ordinance, click here.

Please do your part to protect and maintain the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches!"
