Pack a picnic lunch and visit Camp Helen State Park, 185-acres of ecological wonder that is bordered on three sides by water; the gulf to the south, Lake Powell to the north and east. Not too far down the way is another popular state park and is the most visited by locals and tourist, St. Andrews State Park. Here you can cast a line and catch some fish, take a dive and scuba along the jetties, or simply enjoy, what has been named, the Best Beach in America!
A fun filled day can easily transition to a fun filled night by heading over to Pier Park, a 900,000+ square foot shopping and entertainment center with top of the line dining, events, shops and more! After grabbing a bite to eat, the options are endless to continue your evening. Enjoy a movie at The Grand Theatre, or catch some live entertainment and grab a drink at Tootsies Orchard Lounge! Take the kids for a ride at the mini amusement park, located in the center and filled with thrilling rides and games suitable for children of all ages!
