Events

With 320 days of sunshine annually, any time is a great time to visit Panama City Beach, but why not make your visit extra special by attending one of our many exciting and unique events?

Our events range from coastal music concerts to food and drink festivals and cater to everyone, from families to couples and friends. Plus, PCB is home to some of the best on-the-water restaurants, beach resorts, and attractions around.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE TOP EVENTS HELD ANNUALLY ON OUR SHORES.

Food & Wine Festivals

With our prime location on the Gulf of Mexico, it’s no surprise that there’s plenty of mouth-watering seafood to enjoy in Panama City Beach and an event revolving around a much-loved crustacean. The Grand Lagoon Bloody Mary & Music Festival showcases Panama City Beach's best restaurants and bars competing for the best Bloody Mary voted by patrons and judges.

There are also festivals for foodies with a penchant for craft beer, wine lovers, and Oktoberfest fans – all taking place at Aaron Bessant Park.

Every February, the Panama City Beach Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival arrives in PCB with dozens of food trucks and almost as many breweries. To top that off, the event, hosted by Food Truck Festivals of America, also features local artisans, lawn games, and music.

UNwineD, which offers a few ticket options, is a two-day garden party held in March featuring wine, beer, and spirit tastings, as well as cuisine samples from some of the best local chefs and restaurants. Come for the custom cocktails, art vendors, and concert series, and stay for everything else there is to do in PCB

Lastly, find food and culture at the annual Oktoberfest. Every October, the community gathers at the park to revel in German beer, food, music, and family-friendly entertainment.

Live Music & Dancing

Many of our events revolve around music. From concerts to festivals and parades, music is a way of life in PCB.

Our largest music event of the year is the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam. The four-day summer music festival is held in June at Frank Brown Park and features some of the biggest names in country music, from Florida Georgia Line to Brooks & Dunn. With various ticket options to choose from, you can customize your festival experience and add VIP perks that include a special viewing area or access to the kick-off party through the Side Stage ticket option.

Fun for the entire family, enjoy live music and second-line parades during The PCB Mardi Gras and Music Festival in February, plus costume contests and fireworks. It’s just one of the many sensational events held at Pier Park.

Other musical events include the Seabreeze Jazz Festival held in April and the Summer Concert Series on Tuesday nights between June and August at the Aaron Bessant Park amphitheater.

Holiday Events

Throughout the year, we love any excuse for a party, especially when it comes to celebrating a national holiday.

In July, join us for Real. Fun. Fourth, which features four fireworks displays over the course of the weekend. Catch the show from a waterfront restaurant or beach resort.

Start a new tradition by visiting Panama City Beach for the holidays this year — trade in the snow and sleet for sun and sand! Your whole family is sure to love the Christmas Village at Capt. Anderson’s Marina as well as the seasonal decorations at Pier Park. Holiday festivities start early here during Thanksgiving Day weekend with the annual Beach Home for the Holidays, featuring fireworks, carolers, concerts, s’mores, Santa sightings, and fireworks at Aaron Bessant.

PCB is also the perfect place to ring in the New Year. The New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop at Pier Park kicks off the celebration early with a countdown at 8 p.m. for the little kiddos with 10,000 beach balls falling from the sky followed by fireworks, and at midnight, a beach ball nearly 10-feet in diameter drops from Celebration Tower, also followed by fireworks. Live music and assorted food vendors round out the annual festivities.

Other Unique Festivities

To top it off, we host special interest events throughout the year that highlight our fun vibe.

In March and November, car lovers flock to the Emerald Coast Cruizin’ Car Show, an outdoor meet-up of dozens of hot rods, sports cars, and classic brands.

Later, in October, your kids can play dress-up during the annual Pirates of the High Seas Fest, which features the treasure hunt, pirate costume contests, and in true PCB-fashion – fireworks displays – throughout several days.
